I missed it...who is squanto?

Isles will be pretty quiet.

Unless an offer is so amazing for P.A. or Nabokov — and by amazing I mean 1st round picks and current young players coming back — Snow will be very quiet.

if Reese is OK, and with Ness playing well, I could potentially see one of Jurcina or Eaton moved for a 3rd round pick. That's about it.

Snow will not do anything, and we will lose PA an Nabby in free agency,

I Just don't get it

The Islanders are a joke. It's getting hard to be an Islanders fan (I've been an Islanders fan since 1973). The biggest problem as we all know is their defense. Look at the goals for and goals against. They have given up 35 more goals than they have scored. Logically, a good GM would be in the market at the deadline to get a least one good defenseman. Their young guys simply aren't ready, so get a veteran. I would think you could get someone decent for a #2 or #3 draft pick. You could also move Bailey, maybe Okposo. Look at the Devils they picked Zidlicky he wouldn't have played for the Islanders but their are others out there like him. There is a good chance Eaton will be traded tomorrow. That is $2.5 million off the books. Why not bring back a contract? The last time I looked the Islanders are only 6 points out of a playoff spot. A good week and they are really in the mix...sorry I just don't get it...

you must of been at the game friday...the zamboni driver missed a hole patch of ice in the shootout in front of the rangers net. It was clearly visible and i was in the nosebleeds...but they did win so does he get a raise.

If that's the case I won't pay attention to this team next year. No normal team allows a player who hasn't been healthy in 4 years to handcuff them like this.

first of all why would you trade a 20 year old goalie for a second round pick...everyone wants kill milbury yet a far majority want to act just like him. like i said tavares and hamonic are the only two untouchables on this team but i would not make a move for the sake of making a move
